Message from
Most Rev. Archbishop John Barwa SVD

Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,

As we journey together in faith, I am filled with gratitude for the privilege to serve as your Archbishop. Our diocese is a vibrant community of faith, hope, and love, and it is a blessing to witness the countless ways in which each of you contributes to the flourishing of our Church and society.

In these challenging times, marked by uncertainty and adversity, let us hold fast to our faith and trust in God’s providence. Let us draw strength from the rich traditions of our Catholic faith and the teachings of Jesus Christ, who calls us to love one another and to serve those in need.

I am continually inspired by the dedication and commitment of our clergy, religious, and lay faithful. Your tireless efforts in proclaiming the Gospel, promoting social justice, and fostering interfaith harmony are a testament to the transformative power of faith in action.
As we navigate the complexities of our world today, let us remain steadfast in our mission to be instruments of God’s peace and love. Let us reach out to those who are marginalized, vulnerable, and oppressed, offering them compassion, support, and solidarity.

May the Holy Spirit guide and strengthen us in our journey of discipleship, empowering us to be beacons of hope and agents of positive change in our communities. Together, let us continue to build a diocese where all are welcomed, valued, and embraced.
With prayers and blessings,

Most Rev. Archbishop John Barwa SVD
